Yuan Li

As a fluvial geomorphologist, I am broadly interested in understanding how rivers change their courses and how these changes shape the landscape over time. I approach these questions by combining data of river channel evolution (remotely sensed images, historical maps, aerial photos) with morphodynamic modeling. For my postdoctoral research, I will work on understanding the relationship between rivers and their floodplains.
